Upper Heyford Planning Application submitted in partnership with Richborough Estates

Lone Star Land and Richborough Estates have jointly submitted an outline planning application for up to 230 new homes in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire.

The proposed 29-acre scheme is north of Camp Road, on the edge of the village of Heyford Park, the site of the former RAF Upper Heyford airfield. A mix of one to five-bedroom market and affordable homes are planned with attractive high-quality landscaping and public open spaces, children’s play areas and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. A range of facilities and services are within walking distance of Heyford Park including Heyford Park School, a convenience store, squash courts and a gym. The new Heyford Park Village Centre and village green are also being delivered on Camp Road.

Andy Wilkins, Managing Director of Lone Star Land added: “We look forward to progressing this excellent new scheme through the planning process. As a landscape-led development, it will enhance existing green infrastructure while delivering much needed new homes for the district.”

Marc Wilson, Regional Director at Richborough Estates, said: “We are pleased to have submitted this planning application in partnership with Lone Star Land, which has been shaped following extensive consultation. Our vision is to create to create a distinguishable and high quality development, providing a range of new homes in a sustainable location.
