We are delighted to welcome Ben Williams to Lone Star Land, where he has joined the business as Associate Planning Director.
Ben brings with him over 12 years of planning experience, offering valuable insight from a career that has spanned both consultancy and senior leadership roles. His move into a client-side position marks a significant and exciting step – bringing with him a deep understanding of the planning system from every angle.
After graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Sociology, Ben went on to complete a postgraduate course in Urban and Regional Planning, concluding in 2012. Since then, he has progressed steadily through the profession, moving from Graduate Planner to Senior Planner, and most recently Associate Director, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of planning projects.
Throughout his career, Ben has developed a strong reputation for delivering clear, pragmatic planning advice, managing complex applications, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. His background gives him a unique perspective on the challenges faced by landowners and developers – insight that will be invaluable in shaping planning strategies and unlocking long-term value for Lone Star Land clients.
In his new role, Ben will support the strategic direction of the business, lead planning work-streams and play a key role in guiding sites through the planning process from promotion to delivery.
