Following the approval of the master plan comprising 200 dwellings, 60,000sqft commercial and a 40 bed care home, the non-residential elements have been marketed to no avail for 18 months. Therefore with pressure on securing the delivery of housing, especially from brownfield sites, an Outline application was submitted in December 2015 for up to 80 dwellings.

This application was presented at Committee on the 13th April, with the Planning Committee voting unanimously to approve the proposal which will assist with the delivery of this regeneration project.
