Okeford Fitzpaine Planning Application Submitted

Lone Star have submitted an Outline Planning Application for up to 45 dwellings on the former Faccenda chicken rearing unit site at Shillingstone Lane, Okeford Fitzpaine. This follows several years of consultation with local key stakeholders.

The site is within the settlement boundary and located immediately adjacent to existing housing. Through the Neighbourhood Plan process the site was been identified by the local community as being the preferred site for additional housing and the application has been made in recognition of this.

North Dorset cannot demonstrate a 5 year housing land supply and Okeford Fitzpaine is identified as a settlement that needs to see additional housing delivered.
