Lone Star Land are pleased to announce the completion of the disposal of the Home Guard Club, Tiddington to Hayfield Homes.
Following the grant of planning permission for 32 homes, a new sports pavilion for the Home Guard Club and new scout hut, Lone Star have sold the site to Hayfield Homes who have already commenced construction work. It will be Hayfield Homes’ first development in Tiddington, . The development will comprise of 32 homes, on the north easterly edge of the village with views across the open countryside to the rear.
The site is situated at the Tiddington Home Guard Club and as part of the development, Hayfield Homes will relocate the Home Guard Club from its Main Road site to a brand new £1.5million purpose-built complex.
The new complex will include a scout hut and sports pavilion as well as upgraded changing rooms, café kiosk, bar and function rooms and a club room. The grounds will also be redeveloped to provide football playing fields, a rugby training ground and a cycle track.

The Home Guard Club has been a valuable community organisation for decades and we have needed new premises for many years. We look forward to work being completed by the end of the year.”
Andy Wilkins of Lone Star Land who obtained planning permission and sold the site to Hayfield Homes continues, “The development of this site is extremely important for the village and I am delighted that Hayfield Homes and Home Guard Club are working together to bring much needed homes and community facilities to Tiddington.”
