Minutes from the Salford Priors Parish Council meeting on the 18th October 2017 demonstrate the benefits of a thorough local key stakeholder consultation process.

With comments in the Parish Council’s consultation response such as ‘this development is a cornerstone of the NDP’….. ‘this is an exceptional scheme’…. that ‘provides a unique and exciting prospect.. designed from the outset based on public involvement really demonstrates the benefit of strong engagement with the community.

Lone Star commit significant resources to the pre-application process and really believe that an application should preferably only be made once there is a local consensus of opinion. This will fast-track the determination process whilst also maximising the prospects of a positive local decision.

The application will be heard before the Planning Committee in early 2018.
