Lone Star Group are delighted to have achieved a resolution to grant for 10 Custom Build plots at Walton Road, Wellesbourne earlier this week.
The site was promoted through the emerging Site Allocations Plan and was included as a draft allocation for 14 Self and Custom Build homes. Throughout the application process there was a series of amendments to the scheme to address concerns raised by planning policy, highways, landscape and ecology. This resulted in the proposal being reduced to 10 dwellings to mitigate landscape impacts and to provide 11.8% BNG on-site. The consultant team worked very hard to overcome all technical issues and as a result, the scheme was presented to committee with no outstanding technical objections.
A massive thank you to our consultant team, who have been excellent and worked extremely hard throughout to achieve this decision:
Daniel Jackson and Alick Petit – Agents at Sheldon Bosley Knight, Andy Moger and Andrew Jones – Tetlow King Planning, Ben Metcalfe and Hannah Pigrem – pad Design Ltd, Dave Neale – DTA Transport, Aveline Rowlands and Kurt Goodman – FPCR Ecology, Gail Stoten – Pegasus Group Heritage, Peter Wilkins – Ruskins Trees & Landscapes Ltd Arboriculturalist, Sarah Gibson – Mood and Robert Hughes – Incola Landscape and Stuart Nelmes and Rowan Jobling at BWB Consulting Ltd Drainage.
Also, a special mention to our Case Officer, Joe Brooke, who was brilliant during the application process with positive communication and transparency throughout and a strong voice at Planning Committee, a real credit to Stratford District Council.
