LSL acquired this site in 2019 and have been working with the landowner group to assist in tying together ownership and overcoming any obvious obstacles to create a deliverable site for the councils local plan. Warrington & Co are working closely with Warrington Borough Council to deliver this scheme.
This site is allocated within the proposed Warrington Garden Suburb in the emerging Warrington Local Plan. This area has been identified to deliver approximately 7,400 homes and 116 hectares of employment land. The development will help provide warrington with 5,100 homes within the plan period therefore a key allocation for the plan. Much detail has gone into this plan to create a holistic approach to the whole area, with key link roads connecting to adjacent infrastructure as well as the new proposed district centre and extensive country park.
