Lone Star Land are delighted to report that the Eckington Neighbourhood Plan has flown through the Referendum process. A convincing 88% yes vote on a staggeringly high 56% turnout. Lone Star has actively promoted 2 sites for 38 dwellings plus the gifting of land back to the community which is the cornerstone of the Neighbourhood Plan. A fabulous result for the community and everyone involved most notably the Steering Group who have committed so much time to the lengthy NP process. Next stop March ’20 planning committee.
