An Agreement was entered into in order to promote this allocated site through the planning process. The site was then allocated for 5 houses in the emerging Core Strategy. Within 18months a planning consent was forthcoming for 5 dwellings achieved through utilising Officer’s delegated powers to approve applications.
A smooth process for this site in the sensitive village of Defford, Worcestershire. Despite highways concerns a consent was granted in January 2016 for this pleasant courtyard development in the hill top village of Defford.

The consultation process was conducted initially with the Parish Council and then with immediate neighbours of the proposals. Where possible, residents concerns were addressed through amendments to the layout however the application attracted very few comments from local residents.
