Lone Star have exchanged a Land Promotion Agreement on 17 acres at Burford. Terms were agreed in March 2020 and with Lone Star promoting the site vigorously during the legal process, a draft allocation of 100 dwellings was obtained prior to exchange of the Agreement.

As soon as terms are agreed with the landowner, Lone Star commits to promoting the land through the planning system. It is never the case that we sit and wait for an exchange of contracts to have occurred before embracing the planning challenge. In any event, the planning process can at times be so long-winded that it is in nobody’s interest to wait. We push forwards at the earliest opportunity and for Lone Star, this commitment is made to the landowner with a shake of the hands.
