Lone Star Land have successfully held a public consultation event following the referendum’s 88% approval rating for the Salford Seven Neighbourhood Development Plan.
The event was well attended and the public generally supported the scheme of 68 dwellings centred around a new 5 hectare village green.
The scheme is for 68 two to five bedroom houses, including 35% affordable housing. Phase 1 will comprise of 13 dwellings which abuts the existing development on School Road and turns the corner into Orchard Farm. Phase 2 comprises of a spectacular crescent of housing complete with 3 courtyards that front onto a 5-hectare village green. The scheme is designed in a way to represent good design that creates a sense of place, is distinctive and in keeping with the best of the Warwickshire vernacular.
This consultative process illustrates the skill and dedication which Lone Star Land has in working with the landowner and the local community to realise and enhanced scheme for the site.
